Our Ladies Open Day,Kindly sponsored by "A Sportsmans Dream" in Nenagh was a great success.
We had 21 Fourballs with 84 Ladies taking part yesterday Sunday 25th September with some great scores.
Results as follows:
1st:Caroline Guinan and Niamh Treacy 63 pts (Birr).
2nd:Margaret Feehan and Patricia Kennedy 56 pts (Birr).
3rd:Lucy Saunders and Anne Atkinson 54 pts (Nenagh).
4th:Julie Barton and Bernie Maher 53 pts (Nenagh).

Longest Drive-Lorraine Ryan (Templemore).
Our current 9 Hole singles kindly sponsored by Therese Kennedy is still ongoing.
A new 18 Hole competition kindly sponsored by Sue Reidy will commence on the  Thursday 28th September (Draw at 10.00 and 14.00) 1st and 2nd October.
The Glenns competition is on the 5th October.All qualifying rounds have now been played.Results to follow.

President's Mixed Scramble
Please note our very popular President's mixed Scramble has now concluded for this year we had a very enjoyable social evening last Monday 19th September in the club where President's Sheila and Brendan thanked all the people who supported their Scramble throughout the year.

Birr Seniors are having an outing to New Forest Golf Club on Thursday 29th September. Arrive for 10am where tea and scones will be available. After the Golf a meal will be served.
