This weekend we have the Corrib Oil sponsored Intermediate Cup. A timesheet will be in operation  and members are asked to adhere to the times selected. Also on Friday the very popular Drumcullen GAA classic takes place.

Ladies’ golf

18 Hole Competition. There is an 18-Hole Competition very kindly sponsored by David O’Meara Pharmacy on next Sunday, 3rd July. Draw for partners will take place on Thursday 30th June at 7.00 p.m. so please ensure you have your names down prior to the draw.

Lady Captain’s Prize. With only four weeks to go now to Lady Captain Rita Delaney’s Day, plans are at an advanced stage with Rita and her committee working hard behind the scenes to ensure this is a wonderful weekend of golf and loads of fun for all. Keep in mind the requirement of the three cards to be eligible and a list is now posted for your attention.

The Challenge Cup team played The Heritage in Castle Barna on Monday, 20th June and recorded a superb win over the Heritage ladies. The team of Patricia Guinan, Leilagh Hogan, Caroline Guinan, Carmel Ryan, Mary Byrne, Caroline Guinan and Team Captain Liz Pardy are to be commended for their commitment and time. They are now through to the Semi-Final stage which will take place 25th July. More details later.


The Senior Foursomes are also through to the Semi-Final stage which takes place in Tullamore on 11th July against The Heath. The team details to be announced.
