President’s Prize

President Tony McTague’s prize, sponsored by Brendan O’Carroll of Premier Insulations, was held over the weekend. Conditions were ideal on Saturday when excellent scores were returned. Unfortunately the weather turned nasty on Sunday but this did not deter many hardy souls from taking to the fairways.

At the presentation of prizes on Sunday evening Captain Joe Slevin thanked Tony for taking on the Presidency and contributing so much towards the management and running of the Club. In reply Tony said it was privilege to be involved with such friendly club and praised all who played in his competition and helped to organise the event. He thanked in particular Brendan O’Carroll of Premier Insulations for his most generous sponsorship and wished his company continued success.

Tony congratulated all the winners  particularly Brendan Hoare who returned a fine 64 nett off 11
