The annual dinner in honour of our Captains takes place in the Club this Saturday 13th at 8 pm. Our very popular and hard working Captains Bernard and Kathleen will be the centre of attention this year. As usual there will be plenty of good food, top class entertainment and lively conversation to keep all happy and contented. Tickets are available from Joan in the office and from members of the House Committee. Please come along and enjoy a very pleasant evening.

Open 3-Ball. The competition which is sponsored by Titleist runs from now until the end of April. The format is Stableford, team of three, any combination ladies/gents with the two best scores to count at each hole. This is an ideal competition to take part in, so do invite your friends to come along and enjoy a lovely round in The Glenns. Three groups to qualify each month.

Ladies Branch Annual General Meeting. Ladies please note that the Annual General Meeting of the Ladies Branch will take place on Friday, 19th November at 8.00 p.m. Your attendance and support would be appreciated on the night.


The members extend deepest sympathy to Noel Lowry and his family on the death of his brother Edward in Wicklow last week. Also to Pat Madden and his family on the death of his wife Maria at the weekend.
