Return to Golf

We had a full time sheet for our first week back golfing with everyone enjoying the lovely weather for the most part and members giving glowing comments with regard to our course and the many improvements both on and off the course during lockdown. We are still limited to players from 2 households and the 20 kilometres distance rules as per protocols for COVID-19.We have just received the updated protocols for return to golf and it looks like we will be allowed to have visitors and inter county travel restrictions will cease to apply from the 10th May also time sheets for 2,3 and 4 balls will be allowed at the club's discretion. Tee times must be booked in advance online using the clubV1 system in order to comply with contact tracing requirements. We would ask that Members continue to wear face coverings wherever required around the club this applies even if a person has been fully vaccinated as per HSE guidance. All golf activities should be organised on "arrival-play-depart without delay" basis. And continue to abide by the protocols such as handwashing, sanitizing and social distancing.
