Captains Prize Round 2

We had a beautiful day on Sunday for Captain Aidan Farrelly's Prize Final round. Declan Ryan was a very popular winner on a great score of 138 nett over the 2 rounds. The course was in excellent condition and the pin positions were reasonably tough. Aidan would like to thank everyone for their support and good wishes on both weekends. Well done to all the winners.

Lady Golfers Day

Finally the lady Member's of Birr Golf Club can look Forward to celebrating our Lady Golfers Day on Saturday September 5th.There will be an 18 hole Stableford Competition with a Scramble as an alternative for those unable to play in the main competition. It is hoped that all the Lady members will be out in force on the day. Our Lady Captain Laura and Lady President Brid ,who are sponsoring all the prizes, are looking forward to seeing you all and very much wish that it will be an enjoyable and inclusive day for everyone. Entry sheets for both competitions are displayed in the clubhouse and please have your name down before 5pm Thursday 3rd.An enjoyable day's golfing is wished to all!

Please note that in accordance with current guidelines we will not be hosting the usual prizegiving celebrations.

No competitions were held last week due the bad weather for most of the week.9 hole Qualifier carried forward to Tuesday 1st and Thursday 3rd September.18 hole sponsored by Maggie Lynch can be played on Wednesday 5th September.
